The Offering Tray

Christian Interfaith Ministries is a not for profit organization* that is devoted to spreading the word and teachings of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Although we are non-profit, there are unfortunately expenses that must be paid in order to maintain our website and continue to provide services to our readers and congregation.  Many churches collect a tithing in order to cover their overhead costs, and we do not contend with the validity of this practice.

"The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Levites and say to them: 'When you receive from the Israelites the tithe I give you as your inheritance, you must present a tenth of that tithe as the LORD's offering. Your offering will be reckoned to you as grain from the threshing floor or juice from the winepress. In this way you also will present an offering to the LORD from all the tithes you receive from the Israelites. From these tithes you must give the LORD's portion to Aaron the priest. You must present as the LORD's portion the best and holiest part of everything given to you."' (Numbers 18:25-29) (NIV)

However, it is also our belief that anything given should be given from the heart. One should want to give back to help spread the gospel, and pay tribute to their Heavenly Father.

"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your hearts to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:6-8) (NIV)

 

"Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." (Proverbs 3:9) (NIV)

Therefore, donations may be made by clicking on the PayPal "Donate" button at the bottom of the page.  This method is a safe and secure way of making contributions to our Ministry. All donations received will be used to pay overhead expenses, expand our Ministry's reach and conduct future Ministry projects. Fifty percent (50%) of all donations received will be set aside for use in our 'Save America Fund'. See our "Ministry Projects" page for more information on this program.
